Opening Reception: April 13, 2024: 2-5pm; artist in attendance Born and raised in Lethbridge Alberta, Diana paints who she is - bringing her appreciation of nature born of her love of the prairie and the sky - to all her compositions. Focusing primarily on landscape, Diana blends the boundaries of impressionist interpretation and contemporary abstraction into a glimpse of that elusive realm of life between reality and imagination. In this exhibition Zasadny continues to explore to bounds of abstraction in her unique approach to capture the landscape of southern Alberta. Always stretching and exploring the sensations and mood that a particular region or area evoke, these works explore more than just the trees, grass, and skies.
